iPhone 8 launch is still months away, but the rumours have been overflowing. Now, fresh leaks give us more design details about the iPhone 8, and there’s a probable keynote and launch date been outed too. This is probably the first time we are hearing of a date for the iPhone 8 launch, and it hints that there will be no delay in the launch of the anniversary edition iPhone.

A video leak by Macotakara shows an alleged iPhone 8 case alongside the current generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The case is claimed to be obtained from Alibaba, where it was listed as an iPhone 8 case. The case's dimensions indicate that the iPhone 8 is a bit wider and larger than the iPhone 7, but falls short when compared to the iPhone 7 Plus. The vertical dual camera cut out at the back corroborates with past leaks, and the power button has been shifted a little below as well. The volume keys and mute switch seem to remain in the same place.

Separately, a leak from tipster Benjamin Geskin reveals dates for Apple’s September keynote and launch date. According to the tipster, the keynote address launch will be held on September 17 and the release date will happen on September 25. Geskin also shared an email sent by Apple to AppleCare Advisors and Leaders indicating Black Out Days from September 17 to November 4. Essentially, during Black Out Days, AppleCare advisors and leaders will not be allowed to take leaves as the call volume is expected to be the highest during that specified timeframe.

iPhone 8 was earlier reported to have been delayed due to yield issues of different hardware components, but now Geskin seems to suggest that things are as per schedule. He also suggests that the Touch ID will be integrated underneath the display, something that today’s case leak also seems to testify.
