The Nigerian Senate has confirmed that it rejected acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Senate has confirmed its official position on rejection of EFCC boss Magu
The Senate tweeted its official position as confirmed by chairman of senate committee on media and public affairs Aliyu Sabi during a press conference on Tuesday, December 20.
Reports had emerged earlier that the upper house of legislature did not reject Magu but the senate says that is not true.
Senate Majority Leader Ali Ndume had reportedly claimed that the red chamber did not reject Magu but the new Senate confirmation totally negates that claim.
