Uganda’snational foootball team coach,Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevichas terminated his contract over the issue of unpaid wages.
Yesterday, Micho confirmed toBBCSport that he was leaving his position saying, ‘It is a notice of termination due to non payment of salaries’.
The 47 year old had been in his position as Uganda coach since his appointment in May 2013. During his tenure, he ledthe team to their first Africa Cup of Nations finals in 39 years when they qualified for Gabon 2017.
Uganda’s FA issued a statement today saying they”will forever keep those memories with them’ as they thanked the coach for his services and wished him well for the future.
