A group of protesters supporting President Muhammadu Buhari have taken over the street of the federal capital Abuja, on the morning of Thursday, August 10.
The protesters, under the aegis of Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative were spotted at Unity Fountain carrying placards and singing solidarity songs in support of the ailing president.
On some of the placards are words like:
“Our President is recuperating, Nigeria is moving forward.”
“We stand united for PMB.”
Recall that it was reported that a protest calling for the president to resume of resign started in Abuja on Monday.
The protest being led by entertainer, Charles Oputawas disrupted by the Nigeria Police Forceon Tuesday, August 8, but the protesters returned the next day.
The protest has began to gain mementoas Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke and formerBring Back Our Girls convener and active critic of Buhari, Aisha Yesufu, joined the protest.
