9 Boko Haram Insurgents Killed in Ambush at Borno

Col. Sagir Musa, The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, in a statement, said that 9 Boko Haram Insurgents were Killed in an Ambush at Borno. He said the operation took place at about 6:30 p.m on Wednesday

According to Col. Sagir Musa, “So far, nine Boko Haram terrorists have lost their lives, two gun trucks mounted with anti- aircraft guns have been captured and exploitation is ongoing by the troops.

“Two soldiers are slightly wounded and the situation in the area has been normalised,” he said.

News agency of Nigeria reports that Troops of Sector 1, Operation Lafiya Dole who successfully staged an ambush at an identified Boko Haram terrorists crossing point located in the Mainok-Jakana axis, killed nine Boko Haram insurgents.

Mainok-Jakana is known as a place in the Local Government Area of Kaga, Borno.
