The Enugu State Ministry of Health has said that 72 social health workers in the state have tested positive to COVID-19.
The state Commissioner for health, Dr Ikechukwu Obi, uncovered this in an announcement discharged today June 26. He said the 72 infected health staff were among a total of 202 that have tested positive in Enugu.
Obi likewise affirmed 28 new cases of COVID-19 in the state as reported on Thursday night by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC). According to him, the total research facility affirmed COVID-19 cases in Enugu are 202 with 154 cases on treatment while 43 cases released.

The Commissioner likewise revealed that the number of affirmed COVID-19 related deaths, in the state remains at 5.
