The Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 on Monday said Daycare and grade schools stay shut.
This was uncovered by the National Coordinator of the Committee, Sani Aliyu during its daily briefing in Abuja.
“All daycares and primary schools to remain closed till further evaluation,” Aliyu said.
Review that the Chairman of the Committee and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha had prior declared the “safe” reopening of schools.
Mustapha had said just graduating classes would be permitted to continue.
He had clarified that the measure was to permit the graduating classes get ready for their last assessments.
The decision was a measure to control the spread of the infection in Nigeria.
