Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has said the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, fears educated individuals since “he didn’t go to class”.
Obaseki expressed this while talking with State House journalists on Tuesday.
The representative, who has been at loggerheads with Oshiomhole, has dumped APC in the wake of being precluded from the party’s primary election.
“He (Oshiomhole) has not given a level playing ground even in the determination procedure, the preclusion procedure: what is the reason for precluding somebody like Chris Ogiemwonyi?
“You fear individuals who are taught on the grounds that you didn’t go to class.
“You are afraid of people who have something to offer because all he knows how to offer is brigandage, crisis,” Obaseki said.
Obaseki is expected to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the Edo state governorship elections in September.
